The town is at the tender landing, but the beaches people come for need a tour or car.
Where ships dock
- No cruise dock: all cruise ships anchor and tender to a landing near the Esperance Bay Yacht Club on the foreshore (Southern Ports)
Getting to town
The landing is a public area next to the town centre: the foreshore, the Tanker Jetty site and the shops are a short walk.
Walk the town. The famous beaches are farther: the Great Ocean Drive loop takes in Twilight Beach and the coast west of town (about 40 km, tour, hire car or taxi). Lucky Bay in Cape Le Grand National Park is about 60 km east, roughly an hour each way: take a tour.
Fares are as reported by the sources below and change often. Treat them as estimates.
