Flat walk to town; the Rock is easy by taxi tour even with the cable car closed.

Where ships dock

  • Gibraltar Cruise Terminal, North Mole

Getting to town

Casemates Square, the start of Main Street, is about 1.5 km away: a flat, signposted 15–20 minute walk. A shuttle bus and taxis wait outside the terminal.

The Gibraltar Cable Car closed in November 2025 for a full rebuild and is expected back in 2027. To reach the Upper Rock (apes, St. Michael's Cave, Great Siege Tunnels, Skywalk) take a taxi or minibus Rock tour from the terminal or Casemates, or the electric bus from Casemates to Queen's Balcony. Walking up is steep.
