Where ships dock

  • Nassau cruise port (Prince George Wharf); the beach club is on Paradise Island across the harbor

Getting to town

Your ship docks in Nassau as usual. Royal Beach Club is a 17-acre beach club on Paradise Island, reached by water taxi included in the day pass. Downtown Nassau is right by the pier if you skip it.

Not included in your fare: you need a paid all-inclusive day pass (free for kids 3 and under), booked in the Royal Caribbean app or at the shore excursions desk. The pass includes the water taxi, food, drinks, Wi-Fi, loungers, umbrellas, towels, lockers and showers. Cabanas cost extra. It's for Royal Caribbean guests only.

Fares are as reported by the sources below and change often. Treat them as estimates.

Money & entry

Currency: U.S. dollar; purchases go on your onboard account.

Entry: Bahamas: on a closed-loop cruise (starting and ending at the same U.S. port), U.S. citizens can sail with an original or certified birth certificate plus government photo ID, but a valid U.S. passport is strongly recommended in case you have to fly home. You stay inside the cruise line's area, so there's no separate immigration line for you.

⏰ Back to the ship on time

Water taxi times set your return. Take a water taxi back well before the last one and be at the ship 30–45 minutes before all-aboard.

Ship time can differ from local time. Your ship won't wait for independent travelers.

Shore excursions that get you back on time

At Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, excursions, cabanas and day passes are sold by the cruise line (Royal Caribbean), not Viator. Book them in the Royal Caribbean app or at the shore excursions desk onboard.

Booking through the line also means the ship knows where you are if anything runs late.
