Lovely Roman old town, but you need the shuttle or a taxi out of the port.

Where ships dock

  • Tarragona Cruise Port terminal, Moll de Balears, inside the port about 4 km from the port exit

Getting to town

The terminal is too far inside the port to walk. Take the shuttle or a taxi to the port exit; from there the Roman amphitheatre and old town are about 17 minutes on foot, the Balcó del Mediterrani about 15 minutes and the cathedral about 23 minutes.

Taxi stand at the terminal. Regional trains (R14 to R17) from Tarragona station reach Barcelona Sants in about 1 to 1.3 hours; avoid the AVE station at Camp de Tarragona, which is out of town.

Fares are as reported by the sources below and change often. Treat them as estimates.
