Getting to town	Downtown berths put you right on S. Franklin Street, with shops, restaurants and tour pickups steps away. From AJ Dock, take the shuttle (free or about $5 all day, depending on line) or walk about 25–30 minutes through an industrial area.	All docks are within about an 8–10 minute walk of downtown Broadway. The White Pass & Yukon Route depot is about 10 minutes from the docks.
Getting around	Mendenhall Glacier is about 12–13 miles out. Private glacier shuttles from the terminal take about 30 minutes each way, and permits are limited, so book ahead. The Capital Transit city bus is $2 but can take up to 1.5 hours each way, including a 1.5-mile walk from the nearest stop.	The SMART bus runs dock-to-downtown 7 am–9 pm on ship days: $3 each way or $5 for an all-day pass. Rental cars and e-bikes are available.
