Where ships dock

  • Isola Bianca maritime station (cruise and ferry port), on a causeway about 1.6 km from the centre

Getting to town

Ships berth alongside at Isola Bianca. Get the passenger exit and return meeting point from the ship: the port's own free internal shuttle is for ferry passengers. ASPO bus 9 runs from the maritime station to central Olbia (about €1; buy the ticket before boarding). On foot the centre is about 20 to 25 minutes along the causeway, using the marked passenger route.

Pittulongu beach is about 7 to 8 km (15 to 20 minutes by taxi). Porto Cervo on the Costa Smeralda is about 30 km north (35 to 45 minutes): public buses are limited, so use a taxi, booked driver or tour. ASPO's summer beach bus has been suspended, so check before relying on it.
