Lovely old town, but at the main berth you need the shuttle or a bus.
Where ships dock
- Costa Morena cruise and ferry berths, about 5 km from the centre (most cruise calls)
- Carbonifera / inner-harbour berth, about 200 m from the centre (smaller ships)
Getting to town
From Costa Morena use the free port shuttle or STP bus AP from the ferry area to Piazza Crispi by the railway station (about 15 to 20 minutes; about €1.20 bought before boarding, more from the driver). Do not walk through the working port. From the inner harbour you walk straight into town.
The old town is walkable. Lecce is about 30 minutes by train from Brindisi station; Ostuni and Alberobello are best by tour.
Fares are as reported by the sources below and change often. Treat them as estimates.
