A ranger-led national park landing with mandatory advance permits: go with the ship's tour.
Where ships dock
- Anchor off Komodo Island and tender to the Loh Liang ranger station jetty (no pier for ships)
Getting to town
There is no town: tenders land at the Loh Liang ranger station in Komodo National Park. You can only walk the trails with a park ranger, and groups set off from the station on short, medium or longer treks.
Everything is on foot with a ranger. Since April 1, 2026, park entry must be booked in advance on the SIORA system through a licensed operator, and there are daily visitor quotas, so the ship's tour (which handles permits, ranger and harbour fees) is the practical choice. Some calls add a beach stop at Pink Beach.
Fares are as reported by the sources below and change often. Treat them as estimates.

Ship time can differ from local time. Your ship won't wait for independent travelers.
