Getting to town

Piazza del Duomo, with the cathedral and astronomical clock, is about 5–15 minutes on foot. The clock show runs daily at noon.

For Taormina: train from Messina Centrale to Taormina-Giardini (about 45–70 minutes), then a bus uphill. Many cruisers take a tour instead.
