Getting to town
You land in the middle of Bozcaada town: the castle, the harbour cafés and the old Greek and Turkish quarters are steps away. The streets are narrow and best walked.
Walk the town. From June to September, minibuses to Ayazma beach leave from outside the castle about every 15 minutes (Bozcaada Governorate). Taxis and bicycles are available for the vineyards. The mainland ferry is separate and can be disrupted by wind: not worth it on a short call.
Fares are as reported by the sources below and change often. Treat them as estimates.
Money & entry
Currency: Turkish lira (TRY). Cards are widely accepted; vendors near ports often quote euros or dollars, but lira usually works out cheaper.
Entry: U.S. ordinary passport holders don't need a visa for tourism in Türkiye for up to 90 days in any 180 (Turkish Foreign Ministry). Cruise visitors on shore visits may enter without a visa for up to 72 hours, with local authorities' permission. The U.S. Embassy advises 6 months of passport validity and blank pages for stamps.
